DJ & MC DAVE 'PEPPER'  HALL

Hi I’m Dave Hall been involved with music all my life. Mobile dj from the late 70s up to the present day, I Spent 4yrs on Cotswold Hospital
Radio in the early 80s, with a magazine type Saturday morning show. Took a break for a few years after the birth of my daughter, Then back on the road. At the time country music was not on my radar until my brother in law who was my roadie took me to a country night on our night off he was driving so i had no say in the matter!. As they say the rest is history so to speak. This was end of the 80s and start of the line dance phenomenon. Getting restless at the mobile scene I threw myself fully into country and line dance and eventually started getting a lot of festival dj work, Pontins Hemsby & Brean for 20yrs. All of The Jagers Festivals from the start and far to many more to mention here all over a period of 25+ yrs. I moved from The Forest of Dean  to my present location Warminster 5yrs ago. Not long after moving I was nominated and won best DJ award at the CCN Awards one of many highlights so far. I joined the local Community Radio Station not long after and that was the start of The Country Junkie Radio show, which I’m pleased to say has now been running for 4 yrs, i also have shows on two other stations "Phoenix Country Radio" & "CMR Nashville", On moving to the area my partner introduced me to The renowned Triple C WDC At Melksham and was pleasantly surprised by the amount of folks i knew at the club ,When we could we were regular visitors and made loads of new friends including the resident DJ and his wife Stuart & Ann, Unfortunately Stuart decided to retire and i was asked to try and fill his shoes, two gigs in 2020 then the dreaded Covid kicked in and that was that till Halloween  30th Oct 2021 with a new venue at Westbury Wilts, We were off again into the future with some more new country music adventures, There you go thats a bit about me , See you all soon, Dave (pepper) Hall
